By using Hange you accept these terms. They are short, and written to be read.
What Hange is
Hange is a free tool that recommends laptops based on answers you give. It is information, not advice: we do not know your circumstances beyond what you tell the questionnaire, and the decision to buy is yours.
Accuracy, and its limits
Specifications and prices come from published reviews and retailer sources. We check what we can and refuse to display figures we cannot stand behind, but we do not manufacture, sell, or physically test these laptops, and sources contain errors.
- Prices change constantly — the retailer's own page is authoritative; check it before buying
- Configurations vary — the same model name can ship with different processors, memory, and screens, and the one a retailer sells may differ from the one reviewed
- Battery figures are estimates — runtime is modelled from capacity and power draw, not measured by us, and is approximate
We do not warrant that the information is complete, current, or error-free, and we are not liable for a purchase decision made on the basis of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
Buying from retailers
Purchases happen on a retailer’s site under their terms, not ours. We are not a party to that sale and cannot help with orders, delivery, returns, warranties, or refunds — the retailer handles all of it. Some of our links earn us a commission; see the affiliate disclosure.
Using the site
Please do not:
- Scrape or bulk-download the catalog — the underlying data comes from sources with their own terms, and we are not in a position to pass those rights on
- Attempt to disrupt the service — including overwhelming it with automated requests
- Republish our scores or rankings as your own — quote and link instead, which we welcome
We may restrict access if the service is being abused. We may also change or withdraw features, and the site may be unavailable at times.
Your results link
Each recommendation lives at a private, unguessable address. Anyone holding that link can see the result and the answers behind it, so share it deliberately.
Intellectual property
The site, its wording, and our scoring system are ours. Manufacturer names and product names belong to their owners and are used to identify products.
Changes and governing law
These terms may change; the date above shows when they last did, and continuing to use the site means accepting the current version.
These terms are governed by Belgian law, and disputes fall to the courts of Belgium. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your own country of residence.
